Re.1 Survival Project

The “Re. 1 Survival Project” is an initiative undertaken by Waymakers to address the basic survival needs of individuals in our community. The concept is simple: we encourage individuals to donate just Re. 1 (one Indian rupee) per day towards this project, which collectively makes a significant impact when combined.

The primary objective of this project is to gather small contributions from a large number of people to provide essential support to those who are struggling to meet their basic survival needs. These contributions can help cover expenses related to food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and other essential requirements for individuals and families in need.

By donating Re. 1 per day, individuals can participate in creating a collective impact that helps alleviate the challenges faced by those who are less fortunate. The power of this project lies in the cumulative effect of many small contributions coming together to make a significant difference.

The project operates on the principle that even a small donation, when multiplied by a large number of participants, can have a substantial impact on the lives of individuals and families in need. It also encourages a sense of unity, community involvement, and shared responsibility towards the well-being of others.

The funds collected through this project are carefully managed and used to provide direct support to individuals and families who require assistance for their basic survival needs. Waymakers ensure transparency and accountability in the utilization of these funds, ensuring that they are channeled effectively towards the intended beneficiaries.

The “Waymakers” provide complimentary food and groceries to those in need, including individuals who are homeless, mentally challenged, and destitute parents with children residing in privately operated old-age and orphanage homes that lack adequate resources.

Problem Statement

A family facing multiple challenges due to the medical condition of a bedridden parent and insufficient income to cover medical expenses, treatment, medicines, and basic needs. The children’s education is also at risk due to these circumstances. It’s a difficult situation that requires attention and support.

Project Goal

The goal of the project is to provide comprehensive support to a family with a bedridden parent, insufficient income, and children at risk of educational disruption. The project aims to address their immediate needs, improve their access to healthcare, and ensure the continuation of the children’s education.

Our Aim

Our aim is to offer groceries and food to underprivileged individuals who are left unattended.

Our Requirements
